Nokia 5310 Xpress Music Versus the Nokia 6300 Black - Find The Difference

The Nokia 5310 Xpress Music and the Nokia 6300 Black are famous for their design and in-built features. There are are certain subtle differences between the two sets. The differences are so minute that they are negligible. The 5310 has a TFT screen, a keypad and control buttons and comes in black colour. Same is the case with 6300 but it is coloured as white silver. There are, however, some significant differences in their dimensions and weight. The former measures 103.8 x 44.7 x 9.9 mm and weighs only 71 gms. Whereas the latter measures 106.4 x 43.6 x 11.7 mm and has a net weight of 91 gms.

As regards the TFT screen, in 5310 it measures 31.5 x 41.5 mm and in 6300 it measures 31 x 41 mm. The screen resolution and colour support are slated to be the same. So, the differences are abysmally small. However, the memory shows a significant difference that may account to the superiority of one as compared to the other. In Nokia 6300 Black, the card slot has 7.8 MB of user memory. The Nokia 5310 Xpress Music is equipped with 30 MB internal memory. The battery of this phone gives a standby time of 300 hr and a talktime of 5 hr and 20 mins. In 6300, the battery standby time is 348 hr and the talktime is 3 hr, 30 mins.

The other features of both the handsets are the same. Both the mobile phones come with a 2 MP camera with a resolution capacity of 1600x1200 pixels, a music player that can run on all the popular formats, a FM radio and other exalted connectivity options such as Bluetooth, GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE and USB port. The retail sellers say that they never place these two sets together on display in their showrooms. Their customers become confused and puzzled as to which set to buy.

Samsung M7500 Armani Edition

Once again Samsung and Giorgio Armani have collaborated to bring anew mobile handset for fashion-freaks. It is being called the Emporio Armani Night Effect. Catchy name, isn’t it? Of course, that’s the street-savvy name; the model number is M7500.

With a rather simplistic design this time, the M7500 candybar handset lives up to its name since it comes with a flashy set of LEDs that are embedded into the sides of the handset. This quad-band GSM handset is actually quite a slim phone at 12 mm. It’s packed with features that include HSDPA, a 3.2MP auto-focus camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, microSD card support and an integrated..

FM radio. The M7500 has a 2.2-inch OLED display, and Armani has made sure that its branding is as visible as possible.

November is the time, according to reports, that the Samsung Armani Night Effect should be making its way to European shelves first and later on to South-East Asia and then the Middle East. Not too long a wait for the fashion-conscious mobile users on our shores. No pricing has been revealed yet.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

Nokia has turned up the volume on its music offerings by unveiling the new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, a mobile device for music that brings innovative new features to the mass market.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be among the first few devices to support 'Comes With Music', Nokia's service which offers one year of unlimited access to the entire Nokia Music Store catalogue.

"With the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, we set out to connect people through the one thing we all feel a universal connection to music," said Jo Harlow, Vice President, Nokia. "The way in which people enjoy music is different around the world. With that in mind, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic gives people the freedom to experience music they love in the way they prefer."

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic introduces the 'Media Bar', a handy drop down menu that provides direct access to music and..

entertainment, including favourite tracks, videos and photos. The Media Bar also offers a direct link to the web and to online sharing. Because the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic supports Flash content, individuals can surf the entire web, not just pieces of it. In addition, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic offers all the music essentials, including a graphic equalizer, 8GB memory for up to 6000 tracks and support for all main digital music formats, and a 3.5-mm jack.

Ensuring a seamless music experience, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic also provides easy access to browse and purchase tracks from the Nokia Music Store, where applicable, while the newly updated Nokia Music PC software allows for easy drag-and-drop transfer of songs and management of any music collection.

The innovative 'Contacts Bar' lets consumers highlight four favorite contacts on their home-screen and, through a single touch, track a digital history of recent text messages, emails, phone logs, photos and blog updates.

"As Nokia's first mass-market device with a touch screen, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic turns a 'user interface' into a 'human interface' by truly putting people first. For example, we've introduced the Nokia Contacts Bar, which is like a digital RSS feed on your life," said Harlow. "By adding the benefits of touch screen technology to S60, the world's leadingsmartphone interface, Nokia is taking the familiar and giving it a human touch. We have used touch technology where it really adds value such as the Contacts Bar, Media Bar and clever shortcuts from the homescreen to menu items such as calendar, profiles and clock. "

For the best screen resolution available on a mobile phone, the 3.2-inch widescreen display brings photos, video clips and web content to life in vibrant color and true clarity. With a 16 by 9 aspect ratio and 30 frames-per-second playback and recording, the device supports VGA quality video recording and playback.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic also features a 3.2-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens and, with a single touch, images or videos can be shared via a favorite online community, such as Share on Ovi, Flickr, or Facebook. Music playlist song titles can also be shared through Bluetooth, MMS or online sharing.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be available worldwide beginning in the fourth quarter of 2008. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic featuring 'Comes With Music' will be available early next year.

Bollywood Movie JODHA AKBAR Rigged Bolly awards:AKKI!!

http://www.bollynewz.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/jodha-akbar.jpg
While other actors make a mad scramble for awards, Akshay Kumar gave everyone a lesson in humility by refusing an award at the Star Screen awards function on Wednesday.

The trade and organizers behind Bollywood awards such as Screen, Filmfare, Zee, IIFAs etc have long been suspected to be manipulating the awards based on political or other agendas, instead of rewarding objectively difficult to enact performances reflective of India.

This was highlighted this year when Aishwarya Rai who did not get the expected best actress award for a 50-year character arc span performance in the box office superhit Guru was seen given an allegedly ‘best popular’ award for a lesser role in Jodha Akbar, a controversial movie, which record will show despite being given a huge budget and unprecedented open run failed to break box office benchmarks and in fact was banned in many parts of India, and whose screening was allowed not by popular uprising but by its producer pleading the supreme court on legal grounds.

Actors such as Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgan have also at various points inferred the same at various occasions, with many outright skipping the award shows altogether.

However this opinion of the bollywood awards was more directly confirmed by superstar Akshay Kumar after this year’s screen awards. Akshay Kumar has now reportedly put the story on award shows out in the open, saying “I get calls from lot of awards. They say, please perform at our award night at half the price and we will give you the award…It’s a very simple deal. I don’t want awards which are manipulated. There are so many award nights today. Around 12 to 14 award nights. Awards ki koi value hi nehi rahi.”
