Hyundai Accent SR

Hyundai Accent SR 450 AB

Despite the lack of official support from Hyundai, tuners around the country have been embracing the brand in ever increasing numbers. Until now the Tiburon was a tuner's canvas of choice, but it appears Hyundai is preparing to add another model to its lineup that tuners will likely lust over. The Accent SR concept is based on what will be the next Accent due out next year. A lowered and widened suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels, extended wheel arches and side air vents are just a few of the modifications Hyundai has made to further accentuate its next Accent.

The interior is the essence of cool with rear-radiation lit gauges, an 8-inch monitor, three USB 2.0 ports and touch screen controls for the power windows, mirrors and seats. A five-speed automatic divides up an unspecified amount of power from a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder. In its press materials Hyundai states it has no plans to build the Accent SR, though various elements of the concept will find their way on to the upcoming all-new Accent.
